Just to let u know!

Hey you guys! It's Sunshine Rainbow Girl! I will be doing these "Just to let u know" posts when I have some info I want u guys to know. So today for my "Just to let u know", I have 3 things to say.

1.) My school has taken our laptops for "inspection" so I won't be able to post as much till a week into January.

2.) I just got a new sister and she's almost 1 month old. (This is just ONE of the reasons I didn't get much for Christmas.

3.) I'm still in Winter break so I get pretty bored often. I only basically go online and watching YouTube videos. And also shove my face with candy :)

10 More Days!!

Hey you guys! It's Sunshine Rainbow Girl. Theres only 10 more days till Christmas!!! Are you guys excited? What are you guys getting for your friends and family? I usually make a home made card and write something really touching, which I know it's not a lot, but it's from the heart. Christmas isn't about the presents we get, it's the love we get and celebrating Jesus' Birthday. I'm going on Christmas break this week which I am SO excited for. We're having an awesome Christmas party and we're going to make Gingerbread Houses!! Then we're going to have the Christmas assembly, which we do every year, but is still super fun. I can't wait till Christmas!

Hey you guys! It's Sunshine Rainbow Girl. Getting into the spirit of Christmas and with the weather getting so cold, I've been doing my winter shopping lately. I've gotten many new clothes and bedding(also looking for Christmas presents).I enjoy shopping for seasonal outfits and looking for adorable things! Do you do any "seasonal shopping"? Or maybe you do something else every season. Let me know in the comments!

Christmas Craft!!!

Hey you guys! It's Sunshine Rainbow Girl. Today I have a Christmas Craft for you guys. I will be doing these types of posts from time to time in December. So today I will be giving you the "Countdown Garland". 

Materials: Red, Green, and Yellow construction paper
           Scissors
           String
           Tape and Stapler
           Hole Puncher

1.) Cut strips of red and green paper. You will need a number of how many days there are left till Christmas or Christmas Eve. 

2.) Tape or staple the strips together in circles connecting them. Do this with all your strips so they make a long chain.

3.)Cut a yellow star out. 

4.)Staple the star to the end of your garland. 

5.)Hole punch a hole in the top corner of your star. You can also use something sharp to poke a hole.

6.)Thread some string about 4-5 inches long through the hole. Tie it at the top.

7.) And you're finished! So every morning rip out one of your circles so you know how many days are left till Christmas or Christmas Eve. A quick and fun craft! Hope you guys enjoy and I'll see you guys soon!

Rainbow Loom!

Hey you guys! It's Sunshine Rainbow Girl. I'm gonna let you know one of my addiction~ Rainbow Loom. If you don't know what Rainbow Loom is, it's basically a kit and you can make bracelets out of different colored rubber bands. It comes with the actual Rainbow Loom, A hook, 600 assorted color rubber bands, 24 C-clips (which are fasteners for the bracelet),and an Instruction manual.There are many different types of bracelets and the ones I've done are Fishtail, Single, Triple Single, Ladder, Starburst, and Double X. Some of the ones I am looking forward to try are Diamond, Inverted Fishtail, Dragon Scale, and a whole lot more. There are so many designs for the Rainbow Loom. Right now at Michael's Craft Store, They have a huge stand with the Rainbow Loom kit and packages of colorful rubber bands. They are on sale and I believe that they do classes for Rainbow Loom bracelets(you need to bring your own supplies). I have so much fun making these bracelets and I always buy rubber bands. I keep them in containers to keep them organized but I still don't have room for ALL my rubber bands :) You should definitely get one if you have the time(and if you are allowed to). Hey you guys! It's Sunshine Rainbow Girl. It's been an incredible weekend being with my family and just spending time together. It's finally December which means it's Christmas month. My family has already put up our Christmas tree and every year my brother and I decorate. We have so much fun. I'm already getting into the Christmas spirit by listening to Christmas songs and decorating my room to make it more seasonal. I didn't go Black Friday shopping over the weekend, but if you did comment down below what stores you went to. Hope you guys had a great weekend and I'll see you soon!

Hey You guys. It's sunshinerainbowgirl. Today I'm going to be telling you guys ten random facts about me!

1. I love purple and blue. They are my ultimate favorite colors.

2. I'm 11 years old

3. I love potatoes! I like mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and very thing else that has potatoes.

4. I hate tomatoes! I don't like the taste of them at all. They are the worst food ever.

5. I love crafting. It's one of my favorite hobbies ever.

6. I have a LOT of stuffed animals. I've had a lot ever since I was little. But unfortunately, when I was around 6, I had to keep them out of my room for a while because of allergies. I still have a lot on my bed. :)

7. I have a little brother and I'm GOING to have a little sister(which I'm excited about).

8. I play the flute. I'm in my school's advanced band. I enjoy playing it and I've been playing since I was 9.

9. I love shopping. Whether it's for clothes or toys or any crafting stuff, I just love shopping.

10. I love pop music. I think upbeat songs are catchy and fun to listen to.

   How to make a duct tape cross body(chain)

Hey guys! it's sunshinerainbowgirl. Today i will teach you guys how to make the chain of a duct tape cross body. Unfortunately I can't really teach how to make a duct tape cross body because i'm kind of new to this, but I promise I will eventually show you guys how to make it.

Materials:

1-2 pliers
2 jump rings
chain (length depends)
a pre-made duct tape pouch
x-acto knife

1. Take your chain and kind of play around with it until you find the length you want.

2. Using your pliers, unlink the chain.

3. Take your x-acto knife and poke 2 holes on each side of your duct tape pouch.( you'll want to poke pretty deep so the jump rings will fit)

4. Open up your jump rings, and put it through the hole of your pouch.

5. While the jump ring is still open, place your chain through the jump ring. Close the jump ring

6. Repeat on the other side.

7. Make sure everything is secure and closed

And there you go, you have a duct tape pouch. If you have pretty thick chain, you can thread some ribbon or string through it to get a fun design. Or go ahead and put some bows or flowers on your pouch. Whatever it is, get creative. You can do anything with this.
